The Fleet of Reedereigruppe Freese

The vessels MS „ARCTIC OCEAN“ and MS „ARCTIC FOX“ were built in 1995 and 1996 at J.J. Sietas Shipyard at Hamburg-Neuenfelde and designed for the transport of standard containers (also overwide and overhight units). The vessels are optimized for carrying 40´-containers. Flexible cellguides in the cargo holds ensure fast cargo handling together with maximum transport safety for the cargo. Both are equiped with 100 reefer plugs  and also able to carry dangerous cargo even in the holds.

Vessels hulls are designed and optimized to installed main propulsion power to ensure high service speed of approx. 18,5 kn together with low fuel oil consumption. MV "Arctic Ocean" and MV "Arctic Fox" are specially developed and built with high ice class E3 for the operation in temporary ice covered sea regions (Baltic Sea, Great Lakes etc.). For these vessels we have a charter agreement with Unifeeder, the shipping routes of these vessels are within the Baltic Sea. They are operated under UK Flag.

MS Arctic Ocean
