Vessel operations includes following commercial business:

• communications with bankers, tax consultants, trustees, advisory committee and partners

Superintendency

Superintendency department takes care for:

• controlling and judging of vessel's and technical components conditions
• arrange necessary repairs and maintenance as well as surveys by the classification company and their pre- and final calculations
• check and arrange for shipside requirements for the delivery of necessary supplies and spare parts

Newbuilding supervision

All newbuildings ever delivered to Freese Company will be built under our own independent supervision, partially in cooperation with the charterer. This is to guarantee that all contract details are completely fullfilled and the vessel is a valuable investment. Changes and improvements can be implemented with short notice.

Quality- /Safetymanagement (ISM / ISPS)

The International Safety Managament (ISM) code has been developed by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and was adopted on the 18th assembly in November 1993 as IMO Resolution A.741 (18). With effect from 1st of July 1996 the implementation of an ISM-system came into force for some types of vessels.

For our vessels the regulations applied starting from 01st of July 2002.

The shipping company developed a structured and documented Safety Management System (SMS) based on the ISM Code in order to contribute to the safety at sea and the maritime environmental protection, as well as to reach and maintain a high standard of goods carriage.

Tourism

We are offering the possibility that passenger can join our vessels trading in the Baltic Sea.
Freigther voyages are no luxury cruises but you can experience the daily routine on board, which means you get a close insight in today's commercial container shipping.
Or you can relax, enjoy yourself with the ship’s management and the crew and above all you have the possibility to visit the respective ports and cities in the Baltic Sea.
