The Fleet of Reedereigruppe Freese

In January 2010 the next step in fleet growth and diversification was made. Our company took delivery of the 30.000dwt Lakesize Bulkcarrier mv “Three Rivers”. The Sistervessel mv “Seven Islands” trading as “Pacific Huron” was recently delivered in May 2010 also from Guoyu Shipyard in China. The vessel’s capacity and parameters are optimized for calling the Great Lakes of America / Canada. The 6 holds / 6 hatches bulkcarriers are equipped with 3 MacGregor cranes with a lifting capacity on 30t each and are fitted for grab operation. With a 2-Stoke Wärtsila 6RTA48T-B engine the vessels can serve at 14kn speed. Both of them are long term employed with Korean based Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM).
